Valley crossing is an adrenaline-filled activity where participants traverse from one mountain to another using securely anchored ropes, wearing professional harnesses and safety gear. To elevate the thrill even further, this experience is combined with an exhilarating 1200-feet rappelling descent, making it one of the most extreme and unforgettable adventure experiences in the Sahyadris. Set deep within the Western Ghats, the majestic Malshej Ghat offers a surreal backdrop of mist-covered hills, dense forests, and untouched wilderness. The trail winds through shaded forest paths rich in flora and fauna, keeping you connected with nature throughout the journey. As we approach the endpoint, the route runs parallel to the fierce Kalu River, which gives birth to the magnificent Kalu Waterfall. Kalu Waterfall is among the largest waterfalls in Maharashtra and the biggest in the Malshej region, cascading down from a staggering height of 1200 feet across five dramatic layers. From our vantage point, we’ll be just 1.5 km away from this colossal natural marvel. Along the way, another hidden waterfall reveals itself inside a deep gorge, adding to the spectacle. The trail also offers breathtaking panoramic views of Harishchandragad, Rohidas, Bhairavgad, Kombada, and Thidbi, making this experience a perfect blend of adventure, scenery, and serenity. Shivaji Nagar) ✔10:15 PM: Nashik Phata ✔10:30 AM: Bhosari ✔11:00 AM: Chakan Main Signal ▶️ Itinerary: ●Day 1: ●01:00 am Reach base village ●01.00 am - 04:00 am - Rest at base village. ●04:45 am - Good morning, Complete your morning routine. ●05:00 am - Enjoy your morning tea & breakfast. ● 05:15 am - We will start our trek towards set-up point at Kalu Waterfall with Small Introduction & instructions about trek with the team and fellow participants. Our team of technical experts will guide you throughput. ●06:30 am - We will reach the set-up point at Kalu Waterfall. The technical team will introduce you to the climbing equipment and the safety measures you need to follow. ●07:15 am - Valley Crossing activity will begin simultaneously rappelling activity will start from set-up point. Participants will need to wait for their turn, and those who have finished will need others to complete. ●04:00 pm - We will complete Valley Crossing activity & Rappelling of first two stages (approx. 425ft and 300ft patches). ●04:30 pm - Participants set up camp or rest in the valley area for the night. Evening coffee and a simple dinner are provided. ●Day 2: ●05:00 am - 06:00am - Wake-up call, freshen up, and have breakfast (e.g., Poha and tea). ●06:30am - The remaining rappelling stages (approx. 200ft, 250ft, and 70ft patches) are completed one by one. ●02:00pm - We will complete rappelling activity. After finishing it we will start descend towards base village. ●03:00 pm - Reach the base village. ●03:30 pm - Handover of climbing equipment to the Technical team ●04:00pm - 05:00pm - Lunch will be served at local villagers house ●05:15 pm - We will begin our journey to the city. Till this time, heart-whelming memory of the adventure will occupy your mind on the way to Mumbai /Pune. ●11:00 pm - Reach Mumbai/Pune we will follow the same route on the return journey. ▶️ Please note trek ending time may vary depending on group speed, weather conditions, the crowd on the slope and many other factors please give some time margin for your return journey. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ ▶️ Things to be carried: ● Sanitizer, masks, and a personal medicines ● 2-3 liters of water (must) ● Head Torch or normal Torch* with extra batteries (Must) ● Full sleeve T-shirts and full pant. (Must) ● Good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks (Must) ● Warm cloths / shawl, Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes (Must) ● Raincoat /poncho (must) ● Camera, Cap etc. (Optional) ● Electrolyte packets as energy drinks ● Carry eatable like fruits, dry fruits to munch on during trek and to avoid dehydration. ● A haversack to put in all the things. (Optional) ● Good to have stick for support. (Optional) ▶️ NOTE: ●No Refund will be made if cancellation is made within 3 days prior to the departure date of event. ●Avoid expensive things like gold & silver ornaments. ●Avoid jeans and tight clothes. ●Self medicine prescription by your doctor. ●Do not wear sandals or chappals. ●Unlike any conventional picnic, it is an adventure activity where we are going to have local food.
