If that thought gives you an adrenaline rush, you’ll love Valley Crossing at Duke’s Nose! This thrilling adventure takes you across a deep gorge using ropes securely fastened on both sides. With a safety harness on, you glide through the air, feeling pure exhilaration and freedom. Duke’s Nose, also known as Nagphani, is a majestic cliff near Lonavala and Khandala, named for its shape resembling a cobra’s hood. Standing about 2,000 ft above sea level, it’s a hotspot for adventure enthusiasts. Apart from valley crossing, rappelling down the vertical rock face here offers an unforgettable thrill, paired with stunning panoramic views of the Sahyadris, Lonavala, and the lush green valleys below. Our team of technical experts will guide you throuoght. ●08:00 am - We will reach the set-up point at Duke's Nose. The technical team will introduce you to the climbing equipment and the safety measures you need to follow. ●08:15 am Valley Crossing activity will begin simultaneously rappelling activity will start at Duke's Nose. Participants will need to wait for their turn, and those who have finished will need others to complete. ●04:00 pm We will complete Valley Crossing and rappelling activity. After finishing it we will start descend towards base village. ●05:30 pm - Reach the base village (Kurvande, Lonavala) ●05:30 pm - Handover of climbing equipment to the Technical team ●05:30 pm - 06:30pm - Lunch will be served at local villagers house ●06:30 pm - We will begin our journey to the city. Till this time, heart-whelming memory of the adventure will occupy your mind on the way to Mumbai /Pune. ●11:00 pm - Reach Mumbai/Pune we will follow the same route on the return journey. ▶️ Please note trek ending time may vary depending on group speed, weather conditions, the crowd on the slope and many other factors please give some time margin for your return journey. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ ▶️ Things to be carried: ● Sanitizer, masks, and a personal medicines ● 2-3 liters of water (must) ● Head Torch or normal Torch* with extra batteries (Must) ● Full sleeve T-shirts and full pant. (Must) ● Good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks (Must) ● Warm cloths / shawl, Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes (Must) ● Raincoat /poncho (must) ● Camera, Cap etc. (Optional) ● Electrolyte packets as energy drinks ● Carry eatable like fruits, dry fruits to munch on during trek and to avoid dehydration. ● A haversack to put in all the things. (Optional) ● Good to have stick for support.
